Lil Yachty’s Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Recycled” First Look
A new Lil Yachty’s Nike collab has surfaced, and this one is not playing it safe. Ian Connor shared images of the Concrete Boys x Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Recycled” on his @historyofmyworld93tilnow Instagram page, giving the first look at one of Yachty’s most unusual Nike designs so far. The pair features a heavily textured grey upper that looks like it was built from recycled material. The fabric has a rough, fuzzy surface with tiny colored fibers mixed in, almost like industrial packing material or insulation. Instead of stopping at the upper, the same material covers the midsole too, which gives the whole sneaker a more unfinished, concrete-like look. The Concrete Boys details are still clear. The mascot lands on the heel, while “IT’S US” appears on the tongue, tying the pair back to Yachty’s crew and his ongoing Nike partnership. Even with the full material overhaul, the sneaker keeps the recognizable Air Force 1 Mid structure with the signature strap around the ankle. There is no confirmed release date for the Concrete Boys x Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Recycled” yet. For now, it looks like another sign that Lil Yachty is building his Nike lane around weird textures, personal branding, and Air Force 1s that don’t feel like anything else on the shelf.
