Eliantte Creates Murakami-style Chain Pack for Travis Scott
Wild colors, pearls and iced out crowns of thorns adorn the new chain pack custom made for the one and only Travis Scott and his friends. Elliot Eliantte was the first one to show off the new series of chains, made for La Flame and his crew in accordance with the artwork of Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. The jeweler stated that the piece he showed comes straight "Out The Tahiti Ocean Set In The Shells Big Cactus Jack We Went Crazy ‘Melted Utopia Dream.’" Caption in Elliot’s post read: "Hand Carved Jack Beads With Cactus Pearls Out The Tahiti Ocean Set In The Shells 🐚 🌵🔥,". Later we got to see Travis Scott himself rocking the main piece from the pack (the one that is all covered diamonds) in an Instagram post made by Takashi Murakami, who noted that he wasn’t involved in production process. Cactus Jack Records signee Luxury Tax and The Weeknd's manager Amir "Cash" Esmailian were among those who received the chains. Viewers also pointed out that Travis Scott, who has always been heavily influenced by Kanye West, consciously or not, took a hint from Kanye West’s 2008 Jesus piece. It's worth mentioning that Kanye’s chain was indeed made in and official collaboration with Tekashi Murakami, unlike Travis's piece
