Singer and rapper Kid Cudi made an appearance on Saturday Night Live to perform “Sad People” wearing white floral dress, resembling the one Nirvana’s front man Kurt Cobain wore when he appeared on the cover of "The Face" magazine in 1993. The outfit for Kudi’s performance was put together by non-other than Off White CEO Virgil Abloh who Cudi called a “f***ing genious”. The Kid Cudi's performance on SNL coincided with the week of of Cobain's death anniversary. Nirvana singer's and songwriter, died by suicide on April 5, 1994. This floral dress tribute was not the only Cudi made to the grunge legend. The other one, a little more subtle, was the cardigan Cudi wore to perform "Tequila Shots" that same night. The cardigan bore a striking resemblance to one Cobain was wearing during Nirvana's iconic "MTV Unplugged in New York" show. Underneath the cardigan, Cudi also had a t-shirt on, featuring a photo of late SNL cast member Chris Farley who died of a drug overdose at the age of 33 in 1997
